Time is flying by so fast… the weekly report has turned monthly …
Because of heat and too much work, training consistency went down the drain this period.
Also i was expecting my new bike to arrive those days, which took it’s time to get delivered, during wich i kind of procrastinated my training.
Thanks to long weekend, 2 days spent running in Claveisolles resulting in proper load on week 20.

Week 21 was only bike commuting, and that interrupted 100k gravel ride with the kids during week-end (LINK ME)
week 22 manages 3 small runs and a couple bike commutes.
week 23 load went back up again thanks to a week-end stay at Claveisolles, also did some bit of mountainering (LINK ME). Did a 60k test gravel ride which went ok.
week 24 : Despite heat wave, thanks to teen #1 baccalaureat exams which forced us to wake up early, i managed an almost daily run, completed with a rowing and stair session. For this week-end i am completely out of energy. The heat is exhausting. I fear it will be like this during the whole summer. Still one intense work week, then i will gradually switch in vacations mode until end of august.
Conclusion: cannot rely on Claveisolles stays for running. Need a daily training routine compatible with 9-17h workday and extreme heat.
